High School/Club:

David attended Edmond Santa Fe High School where he was a 2 year letter winner and starter in center field. He finished his senior year with a batting average of .387, along with 8 homeruns, 34 RBI's, 22 stole bases, and a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000. As a junior, he batted .367 helping drive in 14 runs, with 1 homerun and another perfect season in the field. David helped Edmond Santa Fe to American Legion state championships in 2003 and 2004 and Metro Conference titles in 2004 and 2005. He was also tabbed 1st team All-Edmond, 1st team All-City, and 1st team All-State in 2005.
