High School/Club:

Michael started and lettered for 3 years at Park Hill South High School. As as senior first baseman, he hit .290 at the plate with 10 RBI's. He also recorded a .990 fielding percentage. He hit .325 as a junior along with 1 homerun and 15 RBI and a .995 fielding percentage. Michael also pitched 50 innings, allowing 18 earned runs and an ERA of 3.24.
