Biggs joins Cougars after success season at Great Bend High
The Barton County Community College baseball team signed another local talent, inking Brent Biggs to play baseball for Barton County next season. He is the 2nd Panther from Great Bend's state runner-up to sign a letter with Barton and the third to express intent to play for the Cougars.

Biggs hit .514 for the Panthers this past season from his 2nd base spot. He scored 40 runs and had 10 doubles as well as a perfect 14-for-14 effort in stealing bases. The Panthers made it to the state title game for the 2nd straight season at Class 5A only to come up just short and take home the runner-up award for the 2nd straight season. As a junior with the Panthers Biggs hit .311. He was a 3-year letterwinner and 2-year starter with Great Bend.

Last summer with the Great Bend Chiefs American Legion tea, Biggs his .445. He was also an honor roll student at GBHS all 4 years and graduate with GPA just less than 4.0.
