High School/Club:

Kasey lettered four years and started three years attending Independence High School. During his junior season he batted .280 while driving in 20 RBI’s. He also nabbed 15 stolen bases on 16 attempts. Kasey batted .333 his freshman season and followed that by batting .300 during his sophomore season. He participated in the District Babe Ruth Tournament when he was 16 years old, earning MVP honors.
