High School/Club:

Brock was a three-year starter and three year letter winner while attending Hays High School. During his junior season he batted .288, which helped drive in 11 RBI’s. Brock swiped 6 bases on 8 attempts and posted a .988 fielding percentage. As pitcher he finished the season with a mark of 2-4. Through 42 innings of action Brock struck out 32 batters allowing only 4 walks. He received All Western Conference as junior, All WAC Honorable Mention, and got the nod for the Western Plains Diamond Classic All Tournament Team. He pitched 78 innings for the Hays Senior Legion and posted a record of 6-3. He finished with a 3.21 ERA, 68 strikeouts, 12 walks and 2 saves.
