Harrison inks to play baseball at Barton County
The Barton County Community College baseball team signed Rock Creek High School senior Lucas Harrison to a letter-of-intent to play baseball next season. Harrison both pitched and played shortstop for the Mustangs last season.
Harrison was the 2nd leading hitter for Rock Creek, hitting .343 with 3 homers and 17 RBI. He led the team with 10 doubles as well. On the mound the right-hander posted a 4-4 mark with a 3.32 ERA for the 12-9 Mustangs. The 4 wins tied him for the team-lead. He also led the in strikeouts, posting 42 in 40 innings of work. He started all four season for the Mustangs and was a 3-time All-Mid East League 1st team selection.
Harrison was played football and basketball at Rock Creek.
