Suhr signs to play baseball for Barton County
Justin Suhr signed a letter-of-intent to play baseball for Barton County Community College next season. Suhr is a senior at Blair High School in Blair, Neb.

Blair High School does not offer baseball, but he played summer baseball for the Blair Dawgs for the past four years. Last year Blair went 39-9. The two previous seasons, the Dawgs captured the Three Rivers title and where district champions as well in 2000.

This past summer Suhr, a centerfielder, hit .391 with 27 RBI, 37 stolen bases, and 46 runs scored. In addition his on base percentage was .519 with 7 triples, 32 walks, and just 5 strikeouts.

Suhr has also participated in football and track at Blair High School. He is an honor roll student with a 3.4 gpa.
