Dorsey signs to play baseball for Barton County
Brian Dorsey signed a letter-of-intent to play baseball for Barton County Community College next season. Dorsey is a senior at Emporia High School in Emporia, Kan.

Dorsey, a right-handed pitcher and utility player for Emporia has started and lettered the past three years. During his junior season, he was 6-2 on the season with a 2.85 ERA. At the plate he hit .462 with 10 RBIs. He was also selected as the 1st Team All-League designated hitter and received 2nd Team All-state honors as a DH.

Dorsey, lettered in football and was on the honor roll while attending Emporia High School.
