Highlights
The Cougars fell behind 5-0 in the first game, allowing Hutchinson runs in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings. Barton scored it first run in the 6th inning when Jeff Christy drove in Josh Schaub. The Cougars managed just 5 hits off Hutchinson starter Mike Zagurski.

In the nightcap, Barton's A.J. Knight and Hutch's Chris Honsa hooked up in a pitchers' duel. Both teams were scoreless through first 4 innings before the Cougars finally broke on the board in the 5th.
