High School/Club 

Roberts lettered all four years at St. Frederick High School. Batted .405 with 2 HR and 60 RBI, while swiping 10-12 bases his senior year. His junior year, he hit .375 with 50 RBI and 14-15 in the stolen base department. He was First Team All District his junior and senior season. Lettered in basketball and football as well.
