Treto was sensational this week on the mound for the Cougars, tossing a complete-game shutout on five hits with a new career high 10 strikeouts to improve to 3-2 on the season. The righty from Brighton, Colorado, worked four one-two-three frames while also inducing a pair of twin-killing double plays to help keep the sheet clean.

Following Tuesday's non-conference sweep at McPherson College, the Cougars improved to 27-8 on the season.  Barton returns to conference play on Thursday in Garden City to begin a four-game set with the backend of the series coming Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Lawson-Biggs Field.
