Barton women's soccer 5-0 win at Seward County featuring Nina Norshie

The 12th ranked Barton Community College women's soccer team picked up its second straight shutout on Saturday with a 5-0 win at Seward County Community College.

The victory wraps up Barton's first half swing through the conference slate, staying tied atop the standings at 5-1-2 in league and overall while the first year Saints program drops to 1-6-1 in league and on the season.

Seven minutes into the contest Norshie outraced the Saints' defense from Beatriz Baldi's through ball to tie for third all-time before putting a trio of second half tallies on the Redskin Field scoreboard in a matter of twenty minutes.

Also making a move on the program chart, Aya Saiki netted her 19th career goal moving into a tie for 13th all-time, rattling the net on a volley from Lesslie Galindo's corner kick giving the Liberal sophomore her first collegiate assist.
