Barton Volleyball player Tasiah Nunnery and Women's Soccer player Seulgi Lee have earned the week 5 "Barton Sports Weekly Athletic Award Honors."

Tasiah Nunnery was the key offensive force for the Cougars in posting a pair of double-doubles.  Beginning the week with her then fifth straight double-double, Nunnery helped Barton knock off 7th ranked Seward County to end a nine match home losing streak to the Saints.  Nunnery then helped the Cougars in a variety of ways this week, filling in as one of the 6-2 offense setters to flirt with a triple double before concluding the week with her eighth double-double of the year.

Nunnery and the Cougars get back to conference action Friday in hosting Hutchinson Community College in a 6:30 p.m. first serve.

Seulgi Lee carried the Cougars to a perfect 2-0 week recording a pair of net rattlers and assists in the pair of games. The sophomore captain tallied the game tying and eventual game winner in Saturday's key road victory at Johnson County. The returning All-American has pieced together solid numbers over the last six contests for Barton shaking the nets five times including four game winners.

Lee and the women's soccer squad will return to the road Wednesday for their next contest in traveling to Garden City Community College for a 4:00 p.m. kick-off.
