Trailing by one at half, the Barton Community College women's basketball team outscored Pratt Community College by sixteen in the final twenty minutes for a 72-57 win at the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena.

Barton's second straight win keeps the Cougars on pace of the top three of the standings at 14-5 and 15-5 on the season as Pratt slides to 6-12 in league and 7-12 overall.

Next up is the 21st ranked Blue Dragons of Hutchinson in a Monday 5:30 p.m. tip at the Barton Gym with the home finale coming on Wednesday in hosting Dodge City.

The big three led the Cougars in scoring but Barton also received a solid performance from Cora Anderson. The freshman was 6-of-10 from the field for 12 points while hauling down six rebounds helping Barton to a +3 edge on the boards.

Vanessa Oduah and Queen Ulabo led with 19 points each, Oduah dishing out a game high five assists while Ulabo just missed a double-double with 9 rebounds, five coming on the offensive glass. Tiffany Dortland also had another quality all-around game with 17 points and 7 rebounds with a game high three steals.
