The Barton Community College women's basketball team had contributions throughout the lineup Wednesday night at the Barton Gym as the Lady Cougars led by thirty-six by the halftime break in rolling to a 101-44 victory over the junior varsity squad from Sterling College.

Next court action will come this weekend's Best Western Cougar Booster Club Classic at the Barton Gym with Friday's action matched against No. 20 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College before another tough contest on Saturday against Murray State College. Tip-off set for 5:30 p.m. for both contests.

Sophomore Jaylin Stapleton picked up where she left off from last season's first team all-conference campaign in knocking down 2-of-3 from long range, going perfect in four trips to the stripe, and leading the squad with sixteen points and four assists in just twenty minutes of court time.

A pair of freshman came off the bench to post double-digit scoring debuts as all thirteen players reached the scoring column. Richelle Turney scored eleven while Kolby Davis' perfect five shots from the field contributed ten. Second team all-conference glass cleaner Taylor Regan just missed a double-double with eight points and a team leading nine rebounds while fellow sophomores Mallory Miller and Fatou Ndao contributed nine points each with Irene Chukwudi scored eight with seven boards joining Regan with two blocks each on the way to the Cougars nine total blocks.

Dakota Boehler was the lone Warrior in double-digits with ten while also leading the squad with six rebounds. Brenna Eilert added nine while Dominique Bonaparte contributed eight.
