For the second time in the past three weeks, Taylor Regan of the Barton Community College women's basketball team has been named the week eleven KJCCC Kansas MTXE Women's Division I Basketball Player of the Week.

Putting up consecutive double-double performance games this past week, Regan averaged 15.5 points and 12.5 rebounds as Barton split its pair of conference games. The Albert, Kansas, freshman hauled down a total of twenty-five rebounds, nineteen on the defensive glass to solidify her top spot in the region at 7.6 defensive boards per game while moving into a first place tie in total rebounds at 9.7 rebounds per game to also rank 6th and 16th respectively with the national leaders. Regan was also efficient from the floor, shooting on 57% of 12-of-21 field goals and sinking 6-of-7 throws from the charity stripe for 85.7%.

Regan's two awards gives the Lady Cougars three weekly honors this season as fellow freshman Jaylin Stapleton was honored in week one of the season.

The Lady Cougars, 10-9 in conference play and 13-10 overall, have three regular season home games guaranteed left to the season, the first coming Wednesday in a 5:30 p.m. tip against third place Independence Community College (15-4, 17-5).
