The Barton Community College women's basketball program proudly announces the signing of Great Bend High School's Regan Unruh to its 2015 class of Lady Cougars on the first day of national signings.

Averaging 11.8 points, four rebounds, 2.5 assists, and nearly three steals per contest in her senior season, Unruh was selected as a first team All-WAC (Western Athletic Conference) selection after landing on the second team her junior season.

"We are pleased and proud to welcome Regan to the Barton family," said Barton Assistant Coach Alan Clark. "We have watched Regan the last several years not only through her high school seasons, but also during our Barton Summer League. She has worked hard and shown the commitment it takes to be successful. Her toughness on both ends of the basketball court and ability to score from the perimeter as well as attacking the basket give her the opportunity to play at our level. She will be a great asset to our team and our campus."

A four-year starter for the Lady Panthers, the 5'6" Unruh helped Great Bend to a fourth place finish in the Class 5A State Tournament her junior season.
