It was not the results the Barton Community College basketball teams had hoped for Wednesday night at the Barton Gym, as both the women's and men's teams suffered hard fought defeats to Garden City Community College.  The Lady Cougars dropped a 66-65 overtime game while the Cougar men lost 74-72.   Both Barton teams will have the No. 6 seed in the upcoming Region VI Tournament set to begin on Saturday.  The Lady Cougars, who finished sixth in the standings at 6-8 and 18-12 overall will travel to Arkansas City to take on the 8-4 and 22-8 Cowley College Tigers.  The Cougar men, who finished in a four-way tie for third at 8-6 and 20-10 overall, will travel to El Dorado to take on the 7-5 and 22-9 Butler Community College Grizzlies.
