First year at Barton:

Sharece made 15 starts for Barton, seeing action in 34 total games. While averaging 3.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, she shot 42 percent from the field and made 52 percent of her free throws. Sharece was also tied for the team lead with 20 total blocked shots.

High School/Club:

Sharece attended Wichita Heights High School where she started for two years and lettered three times. During her senior year, Sharece scored 10 points, dished out 3 assists, and grabbed 10 rebounds per contest. She also shot 50 percent from the field and 65 percent from the free throw line. She helped Wichita Heights to City League championships in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 along with State championships in 2002 and 2003. In 2003, she was named All-State Honorable Mention, and All-City Honorable Mention. As a senior, Sharece was named 1st team All-City. She also lettered in volleyball and track at Wichita Heights.
