High School/Club:

Amber returns to the Cougars as a sophomore this year. In high school, she started all four years and lettered all four seasons for the Claflin Wildcats. As a senior, she averaged 12 points, handed out 3 assists and snatched 7 rebounds per game. She averaged 10 points, 2 assists and 5 rebounds per game as a junior. She helped Claflin pick up a Central Prairie League title, while also picking up several individual awards. As a freshman, she was CPL All League Honorable Mention, selected to the Amos Morris Russell All Tournament Team, and Wichita Eagle All State Honorable Mention. As a sophomore, she was selected to the CPL All League 1st team, All Tournament Team Lincoln Tournament, Wichita Eagle All State Honorable Mention, and a Great Bend Tribune All Area 2nd Team selection. As a junior, Amber was CPL All League 1st team selection, Topeka Capital Journal All Class 1A Honorable Mention, Wichita Eagle All Class 1A Honorable Mention and Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All State Honorable Mention. As a senior, Amber was selected to the Russell All Tournament Team, CPL All League 1st Team, Great Bend Tribune All Area Honorable Mention, and Hutchinson News All Class Honorable Mention. Amber also lettered in track for two years, and volleyball for four years.
