Barton falls to 0-2 in West with road loss to Pratt
The Barton County Community College women's basketball team dropped its second Jayhawk West contest with a 59-32 loss at Pratt Wednesday night. The two losses for the Cougars in the conference have come to teams with a combined record of 28-3. The Cougars fell to 10-6 with the loss and 0-2 in the West.

Highlights
For the 2nd straight contest, the Cougars hung around for a while before letting the game get away. Barton trailed just 25-19 at the half but a quick 5-0 run by Pratt to start the 2nd half gave the Beavers a 30-19 lead. Barton would get inside double figures just one more time as Pratt outscored the Cougars 34-13 in the 2nd half of action.

The Cougars were paced by Carly Bloomfield as the freshman tossed in 12 points for Barton. She was followed by Akia Harmon and Briana Harris with 6 each. Bloomfield also grabbed 8 rebounds to pace the Cougars.
