Harris 1st out-of-state signing for Barton County women Harris was a 4-year starter at the point for Thunderbird High School, scoring 15 points a game her senior season. Harris was a habitual thief on the court, snagging 6 steals per contest as a senior. She also grabbed 4 rebounds a game and handed out 4 assists per contest. Her senior season saw her club turn in a 28-6 mark, losing in the finals of the Class 4A state title game. As a junior, Thunderbird High went 30-2 and captured the state title. Harris was a participant in the Arizona All-Star game this season and was a McDonald's High School All-American Nominee. She garnered All-State honorable mention status as a junior and senior for Thunderbird High School. Harris 1st out-of-state signing for Barton County women

Brandi Harris became the 1st out-of-state signee for new Barton County Community College women's basketball coach Lane Lord. Harris, a 5-7 point guard from Thunderbird High School in Phoenix, Arizona, signed a letter-of-intent to play for the Cougars next season. She will bring with her impressive individual and team success through her high school career, which included a pair of Class 4A state titles in Arizona as well as a runner-up effort her senior season.
