Barton women drop two at Shoot-Out
The Barton County Community College women's basketball team dropped a pair of games at the Jayhawk Shoot-Out this past weekend in Coffeyville. The Cougars lost Friday to Highland, 65-54, the fell to host Coffeyville Saturday by a 55-40 count. The Cougars are now 7-7 for the season.

Highlights
The Cougars struggled from the floor during the weekend, hitting just 32 percent from the floor against Highland and just 23 percent against Coffeyville.

Akia Harmon led the Cougars against Highland, scoring 16 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Christa Wilson came in off the bench to add 9 points and 6 steals. Eric Blair paced the Cougars against Coffeyville with 12 points and a Barton season-high 15 rebounds. Heather Nittler added 10 points and 4 assists.
