Lee signs letter with Bethany College

Stacy Lee became the third member of the Barton County Community College women's basketball team to sign a letter-of-intent to play in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference next season.

Lee, a native of Randolph, signed to play basketball for Bethany College in Lindsborg. The 5-9 guard will join teammates Briana Book (Sterling College) and Jenny Urban (Friends University) in the KCAC next season.

In her two seasons with the Cougars, Lee hit 81 3-pointers for the Baron County the most of anyone the past two seasons. Her career-high of 28 points came her freshman season against Northern Oklahoma. She just missed a double-double that game, collecting 9 rebounds as well. She averaged 6 points a game this past season after averaging 9 per contest as a freshman.

At Blue Valley High School, Lee averaged 17 points and 5 rebounds as a 4-year starter for the Rams. Her team took 3rd in state her freshman season at Blue Valley.
