Highlights

            Butler County took an early lead in the game at 12-0, but the Cougars battled back and kept the game in single digits most of the first half, trailing 31-22 at the break. In the second half, the Grizzlies maintained a lead of 8-12 points most of the way before pulling away for the 19-point win.

            The Cougars were led by Stacy Lee's nine points. Jackie Moore scored 19 points to pace Butler, followed  by 16 from Ena Daniels. Barton County once again outshot their opponents in field goal percentage, but 38 turnovers hampered the Cougars cause.

Next Up

            The Cougars travel to Hutchinson Wednesday night to take on the Blue Dragons. Hutchinson is 2-2 in the West and 16-2 overall this season. Tip is set for 6 p.m.
