High School/Club

Gorgiyan comes from Salina, Kansas, where she was a four-year letterman and a three-year starter for her high school. During high school she played both short stop and first base. She was a member of a summer league, the Hot Tamales, which won the Class B National Champions this past summer. Taylor graduated with a 3.62 GPA, was a member of theNational Honor Society, an Academic Letterer for four years and was also the top Senior Athlete of 2002.
