Arriving to Barton following a two-year stint as assistant coach at Allen Community College, Davis coached two NJCAA Division I National Champions and multiple NJCAA All-Americans.

A graduate of Hallandale High School in Hallandale Beach, Florida, Davis was a 300m Hurdle State Champion and member of his team’s 2006 state championship.
