High School/Club

Rone, out of Wichita Kansas, attended Wichita Southeast High School. A four-year letter winner and three-year starter, Smith averaged 20 points, 2 assists and nabbed 8 rebounds as a senior. He shot 65 percent from the field, 85 percent from the free throw line, and was 30 percent from beyond the arc during the senior campaign. He averaged 15 points, 3 assists and 4 rebounds as a junior, shooting 45 percent from the field, 83 percent from the stripe and 27 percent from beyond the arc. Rone helped his team to three City Titles in a row and two state titles as well. Rone received All League and All State Titles as well.
