Freshman Season

Appeared in all 38 games last season. Made four starts for Barton. Contributed 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest last year. Shot 52.8 percent from the field and tallied 43 steals. Help lead the Cougars to the Region VI Championship and to a 7th place finish at the 2001 NJCAA national tournament. 

High School

Fields, a four-year letterman and starter for Junction City, averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists per contest as a senior. Helping to lead Junction City to a 2nd place finish at the 2000 Class 6A-state tournament. Scored 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game as a junior. Contributed 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists during his sophomore and freshman seasons. Help lead Junction City to three I-70 League Championships and 2 state tournament appearances. Named to the Honor Roll and graduated with a 3.5 GPA.
