The Barton Community College women's cross country team competed Monday at the Region VI Championships held at the Westar/Prairie Ridge Park in Hutchinson, Kansas. Barton will next compete at the NJCAA Division I Cross Country Championships November 9th at the Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Jenna Schroeder led the Lady Cougars with a 26th place finish in 21:56.90, just six seconds off her season best. Tabitha Kim was also solid in her 32nd place clocking in at 22:17.20.
