The Barton Community College volleyball team has been picked to finish third in the Jayhawk West Conference for the upcoming 2022-23 season according to the league member coaches' voting

Finishing runner-up for the third straight year, the Cougars had their season come to an end in the Region VI Semifinals concluding the campaign at 24-11.

Entering his fourth year at the helm Head Coach Alan Segal returns seven key pieces from last season's squad including First-Team outside hitter Tasiah Nunnery and second-team defensive specialist Hanna Miller.

Barton will toss the ball up on Friday, August 19th at the OWT Tournament in Rockford, Illinois against Lake Land College before concluding the weekend trip with a pair of matches Saturday, August 20th versus Williston State College and Rend Lake College. The Lady Cougars open the home slate on September 14th against Pratt Community College.

The Saints of Seward County Community College have been tabbed the conference favorite with the defending Conference and Region VI Champions Butler Community College predicted just in-front of the Cougars with Dodge City Community College in the fourth spot.
