Nina Norshie of the No. 16 Barton Community College women's soccer team has been named the week two KJCCC Division I Player of the Week while also earning her first national distinction as the week one NJCAA Player of the Week.

Norshie had a historic week for the Cougars tallying up 23 points behind 10 goals and three assists. Adding two assists to the day's total of 16 points, Norshie became the program's top single game point scorer.

Having her three game hat-trick snapped in the week's finale, the freshman still contributed with an assist to tie the contest in Barton's near upset at No. 2 ranked Tyler Junior College.
