The Barton Community College women's soccer team came from behind Sunday in Kansas City to score three second half goals to win 3-1 over Kansas City Kansas Community College.  The No. 16 NSCAA ranked Lady Cougars improve to 4-0 in conference play and 4-2 overall while keeping KCK winless at 0-6 in conference and 0-7 overall.  Barton will next play at Dodge City Community College on Wednesday then return home to the Cougar Soccer Complex for a 2:00 p.m. Saturday contest against Allen County Community College.

KCK took the early 1-0 lead just 7:15 into the contest and seemed minded to upset the Lady Cougars.  Wasting little time in the second half, Barton freshman Catlin Simon dribbled through the Red Devil defense to score her fist collegiate goal to tie it up as only 7:18 had expired in the second frame.  Four minutes later, fellow freshman Ronnie Johnson also scored her first collegiate goal taking a Bianca Barron pass to give Barton the 2-1 lead.  The Barron-Johnson combination connected again just two-and-a-half minutes later giving the Lady Cougars the eventual 3-1 victory.
