Returning to southeast Kansas for the second time in three days, the No. 16 ranked Barton Community College men's soccer team defeated Allen Community College 2-0 Friday in Iola, Ks.  The Cougars took a 1-0 lead to halftime on Tyler Dixon's pass to Ebu Camara with fourteen minutes left in the half.   Less than one minute into the second half Mariano Gelso connected with Barton leading scorer Sam McCrillis to seal the Barton victory.  Barton improves to 6-1-1 on the season and 3-0 in Jayhawk play while Allen drops to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play.  Barton will have the week off before returning to southeast Kansas for back-to-back games on Saturday and Sunday.  The Cougars will play Neosho Community College at 4:00 p.m. Saturday and wrap up the trip on Sunday with a 3:00 p.m. game at Independence Community College.
