Cougar golf improves to finish second in second meet of seasonThe Barton Community College men's golf team strung together two solid rounds to finish in fourth place in the second Jayhawk Conference meet of the season.  Held at Auburn Hills Golf Course in Wichita, the Cougars finished with a team score of 628 for a combined fifty-two over par and fourteen stroke improvement from the previous week.  Barton will be back on the links October 7-8 for Conference Meet No. 3 to be held at the Manhattan Country Club in Manhattan, Kansas.  The Cougars will begin play at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Jeremie Eloy led the Cougars with a nine-over par 153 to finish in eleventh place. Brock Morgan finished two strokes back for sixteenth place while Alex Hoblemann had duplicate 79 rounds to finish in twentieth place.
