For the fourth time this season, Hanna Miller of the Barton Community College volleyball team has been named the KJCCC Division I Defensive Player of the Week.
Miller helped lead the Cougars to a much needed fifth set road victory in Colby Community College. Anchoring the back line, the sophomore recorded a team high 25 digs marking her eighth match of the season with 20+ digs averaging 5.0 per set. Miller was also perfect on the reception end posting a 20-for-20 in service received.
Most recently, the Cougars dropped a four set loss Wednesday night to receiving votes Hutchinson Community College dropping Barton to 13-4 on the season and 2-4 in KJCCC Conference Play. The Cougars will wrap up their two game homestead Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. against Garden City Community College.
