Bio

David Schenek is in his 17th season leading the storied Barton Men’s and Women’s Track & Field programs.

In Coach Schenek’s previous seasons, the Cougars have captured 5 national titles, have a combined 42 Top-5 team national finishes in landing within the Top-10 nationally 48 times.

The team accomplishments have earned Coach Schenek 22 coaching awards including 6 national coaching awards.

Coach Schenek’s Cougars have continued on to various next levels including to Power 5 NCAA Division I programs, Olympic games, World Championships, respective country championships, and professional competitions.
