Angelina Gnezdilova finished off her season with a consolation bracket title Tuesday to lead the 11th ranked Barton Community College women's tennis team to a 10th place finish at the 2022 NJCAA Division I National Tennis Championships.
Gnezdilova closed out the Cougars' four days at the Reffkin Tennis Center in Tucson, Arizona, with a dominating 8-1 victory over Italia Jones of Wallace State in the No. 1 flight's consolation finals.
The result increased Barton's total to 20 points, sitting firmly in the 10th spot into final day action three points ahead of Meridian Community College.
Going 8-2 at the National Championships in her two seasons, Gnezdilova also captured the No. 4 flight consolation title last year in Mesa.
