Ousmane “OC” Camara enters his second season as assistant coach for both men’s and women’s soccer programs. Camara holds a Level 6 Diploma and the National Diploma from the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America). A familiar face around Barton, Camara returned last season where his collegiate career began joining the Cougars in 2009. Camara played one season in the Barton uniform in 2010 before continuing his academic career at Fort Hays State University earning a bachelor degree in political science in May 2013. | Coaching Credentials:- NSCAA National Diploma - NSCAA Level 6 |
Camara previously coached at Thomas More Prep High School and the Hays Soccer Club before a brief stint at Western Texas College under previous Barton women’s soccer coach Shawn Uhlenhake. Camara holds a Level 6 Diploma and the National Diploma from the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America). Born in Conakry, Guinea, Camara is polyglot five languages including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and his native tongue Susu. |
