Eight Lady Cougars earn post season soccer awards
Eight players from the Barton Community College women’s soccer team recently received post-season awards following the conclusion of its 9-6-1 season. The Lady Cougars’ selections included four each from the sophomore and freshman classes being named to the 2016 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference All-West team.

Eight players from the Barton Community College women's soccer team recently received post-season awards following the conclusion of its 9-6-1 season. The Lady Cougars' selections included four each from the sophomore and freshman classes being named to the 2016 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference All-West team.
Freshman defenseman Analia Torres headlines the selections being the lone Lady Cougar to earn first team honors.
The second team consisted of seven Lady Cougars including four from the sophomore class as forwards Rachel Craft and Megan Martinez were joined by defensemen Hannah Knaak and Adriana Reyes. Forward Amber Miller was joined by fellow freshmen Maddison Schofield and Kirsty Ashworth from the midfield.
