The Barton Community College women's basketball team landed a pair of sophomores to the All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) team following the conclusion of the 2019-2020 season. Announced by the league office, Richelle Turney earned first team honors while D'Shonda Hunt picked up honorable mention distinction.

RICHELLE TURNEY – 1st-team All-Jayhawk West
Turney finished the season leading the Cougars in scoring at 15.0 points per game, eighth best in the league. The 5'10" guard ranked among the top four within the squad in six different categories, connecting on a third best 42.2% from the field including an eighth league best 35.3% from beyond the arc.

Earning the conference player of the week award in the second week of the season, Turney later posted a career high 32 point performance in a January 11th road victory at Allen Community College on January 11th. Reaching doubles figures in 26 of 31 games, Turney eclipsed the twenty-point plateau during the season on eight separate occasions.

Adding to her season resume, Turney was selected onto the Region VI All-Tournament Team. Missing the Cougar's opening round due to illness, Turney put up 14.3 per contest including knocking down 6-of-12 from behind the arc in shooting 47.9% overall from the floor.

D'SHONDA HUNT – Honorable Mention All-Jayhawk West
Hunt recorded a squad second best five double-doubles on the year as the 6'0" forward averaged 8.9 points and 6.3 rebounds to rank in the top-20 of board cleaners. Hunt reached double figures seventeen times out of the thirty-three games including a career best nineteen coming February 1 at Garden City, cleaning the glass with ten or more boards six times including a career best eleven in the November 22 trip to Redlands.

Turney was joined by freshmen Vanessa Oduah and Queen Ulabo on the All-Region VI Tournament Team following the Cougars' run to the championship game, completing the season at 18-16.
