The Barton Community College women's basketball team picked up a couple wins over the weekend in the North Central Missouri College Classic held in Trenton, Missouri. Barton knocked off the host Friday night racing to an 85-67 victory. With a quick turnaround for a 12:00 p.m. game on Saturday, the Lady Cougars shook off a sluggish first half to capture a 70-45 win over Ancilla College. With the pair of wins, Barton improves to 11-3 on the season heading into Monday's fall schedule finale against Hesston College. Tip-off at the Barton Gym is 5:30 p.m. as the Lady Cougars look to sweep the season series having beaten the Larks 64-52 back on November 13 in Hesston.
