Pratt jumped on the Cougars in the first inning scoring four runs. The lead would hold at four until a Shelby Plank single scored Ashlyn Osborne in the top of the fourth to cut the Barton deficit to three.
After a scoreless at-bat for both teams, the Beavers scored three in the bottom of the sixth to increase the lead out to 7-1.
Barton tried to battle back in the seventh scoring two runs the first coming from a Jordan Haney sacrifice fly and the last coming on a Pratt fielding error.
Alex Dunlavy took the loss for the Cougars dropping her record to below .500 for the first time this season at 4-5.
