On a frigid day in Garden City, Kansas, the Barton Community College cross country teams took to the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in the KJCCC/Region VI Championships. With the women not fielding a complete squad, the Cougar men placed 8th in the KJCCC West Division and 13th in the overall Region VI standings.

Fielding an all-freshmen squad for the meet, the Cougars’ placing came against fifteen teams from the NJCAA, NAIA, and NCAA Division II levels, with two individuals placing in the Top-32 of the 117 man field.
