The 7th ranked Barton Community College men's team fell on the wrong side Saturday in Liberal, Kansas, as the nation's 3rd ranked Saints of Seward County Community College prevailed with a 9-0 victory.

The Cougars conclude conference play with a third place finish at 0-2 and drop to 5-5 on the season while the Saints wrap up a runner-up conference mark of 1-1 and conclude the regular season at 12-3. Barton will conclude the regular season Monday April 26 with a road trip to McPherson College with first serve slated for 12:00 p.m.

Barton had very little success against the Saints in double action with No. 1 doubles #14 Samrakshyak Bairacharya and Eduardo Morais winning the most games falling 8-5 to #6 Luciano Fisicaro and Raul Centeno.

The same scenario would be the case in singles action as 45th ranked Eduardo Morais led the Cougars' taking the only match past two sets claiming an opening set victory over 16th ranked Raul Centeno 7-6 (4) before dropping the final two sets 6-4 and 6-2.
