Doug Kaiser enters his 6th year leading the women's golf team and his 4th year as the men's coach.

On the men’s side, the Cougars have finished as high as 5th in both the conference and region race.  This past season Kaiser led a young Cougar squad in improving two spots in each of the conference, region, and district standings.

After not fielding a complete women’s team in his first season, Coach Kaiser has led the Lady Cougars to two region championships, two region runner-up finishes, three national tournament appearances, an individual regional champion in five seasons.

Last season the Lady Cougars were dominate, winning five of the six conference meets to win the KJCCC Championship.  Reaching a national ranking of #9, the Lady Cougars won the Region VI Championship and went on to take eleventh at the NJCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championships.  The accomplishments marked the second time in the past three seasons Coach Kaiser has led the Lady Cougars to conference and region championships, and four national championship berths in Kaiser’s five years.  

In the 2011-12 season, the Lady Cougar golf team finished second in Region VI and finished 17th at the NJCAA Tournament. 

Two seasons ago Coach Kaiser helped lead the women's team to the Region VI Championship and 17th place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament.  During that season the women won 3-of-4 conference tournaments and 5-of-7 overall, finishing 2nd in both tournaments.

Kaiser played for the Cougars during college in the early 1980's along with former Barton Coach Steve Goetshe. His final season he placed in the top 15 at the Region VI meet. Kaiser also played locally in high school at Great Bend High.
