Bio

First year at Barton:

Austin started all 55 games he played in last year for Barton. He led the Cougars with a .426 batting average along with 24 stolen bases on 25 attempts. He also led with 5 homeruns, 39 runs batted in, and 81 hits. Austin earned 1st team All Jayhawk Conference outfield honors as well as Jayhawk Conference Freshman of the Year. 

High School/Club:

Austin attended Blue Springs High School where he started for 2 years and lettered for 3. During his senior season as a second baseman, he batted .350 with 18 RBI and 12 stolen bases on 14 attempts. Austin also lettered in football and wrestling at Blue Springs.
