Freshman season at Barton
Elson played in and started 48 games for Barton County as a freshman batting .260 and driving home 24 RBI's.
High School/Club
Elson was a 3 year starter for Wichita Northwest High School. During his senior season he hit .420 with 18 RBI and a .987 fielding percentage. Helped summer team, the Wichita Sluggers, win the 18-year-old NBC World Series.
